SZC POE (Ester) oil
SZC® RS Series Refrigeration POE Ester lubricant range is based on synthetic esters formulated for performance in refrigeration and air conditioning compressors using HFC, CFC or HCFC refrigerants. These synthetic lubricants are chemically and thermally stable for cleaner operating performance and provide wear protection for steel or aluminum surfaces for longer system life and system efficiency. They are miscible over a broad temperature range and found in appliance or commercial & industrial systems.
SZC® RS Series Series are compatible with most refrigerants except sulphur dioxide. They are not recommended for use with HFC refrigerants. The moisture content of oils is very low when the oils are packaged. Every precaution should be taken to keep the oils dry to avoid the formation of ice in expansion valves, and to limit the risks of oil degradation, copper plating, etc.

SZC Naphthenic Mineral oil
SZC® RS GS Series are high performance naphthenic mineral oils primarily intended for use in refrigeration compressors. They have low pour points and excellent fluidty at very low temperatures by virtue of being almost wax-free. Consequently, use of these oils helps to ensure that evaporator tubes are kept clean to improve heat transfer and to reduce downtime for maintenance. They have good chemical stability and are suitable both for
cylinder and bearing lubrication.
SZC® RS GS Series Series are compatible with most refrigerants except sulphur dioxide.
NOTE! Mineral (Naphthenic) oil are not recommended for use with HFC refrigerants, eg. R134A, R404A, R507, etc

SZC PAO/AB (NH) Synthetic oil
SZC® NH Synthetic Series are a full synthetic oils blend of PAO and AB based ammonia refrigeration compressor oils used in industrial systems, which have demonstrated outstanding resistance to thermal and oxidative degradation.

At the same time, the low pour point and very low floc points enable lower minimum evaporator temperature over mineral based refrigerants.

SZC Hydro Treated Ammonia (R717) oil
SZC® RS-HT oil is a highly refined, Hydrotreated ammonia compressor lubricant, specially designed to function under the stringent requirements of closed-loop ammonia refrigeration systems. It provides value-added benefits in the areas of improved system efficiency and higher productivity.
RS-HT Hydrotreated mineral oil takes on the characteristics of Synthetic oil. It is extremely refined to a 99.9% pure base oil. Hydrotreating or Hydrocracking is a process whereby hydrogen is added which alters the molecules and removes impurities and wax resulting in cleaner and more effective lubrication. RS-HT additives enhance system performance, while protecting the equipment from corrosion, oxidation and anti-foaming.

RS-HT oil is compatible with naphthenic and other hydro treated paraffinic-based compressor oils for ammonia service, as well as PAO and alkyl benzene-based products.
Material Compatibility
RS-HT68 oil is compatible with all seal elastomers commonly used in Ammonia systems including Buna-N, NBR and Neoprene seals & O-rings.
